It's hot...too hot. The sun burns the Oklahoma evening sky and everything that its unforgiving rays touch. It seems that the world is on fire, and that even the lake before me could burst into flame at any moment. This day the high reached 107 F...even the ducks on the lake swim in the shade of the trees along the bank. Small comfort I'm sure, but protection enough from the sun's onslaught.
